On Sunday, January 27th will be conducting our “Brow Basics” Class. This class will cover everything about brows! Shaping them, filling them in, enhancing them, creating them, etc. You will get twice the knowledge and experience with 2 of us teaching.

Brows are the absolute most important feature on the face…they literally can change the whole look of a person’s face! And here, you have an opportunity to learn techniques from 2 artist…so you learn twice as much!

Here's to a Flawless 2013!!!

Another Year is upon us! I am excited, inspired and filled with gratitude! Ready to use the lessons of last year to appreciate the blessings in the new one!  One of the things I am most thankful for is what I have been able to achieve by operating in my gift. 

In the beginning stages, I thought it was just something I was good at. Then I gave myself a little more credit, and could admit that I was talented. Now, at 7 years strong, I can confidently say that  doing makeup is something that I am gifted with.  I can say this because, it  has given so much back to me. It feeds my body and my spirit, has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and blessed me with opportunities that I dreamed about and has allowed me to help people in the most interesting ways.  It has been a challenging journey, but it has made me a strong woman. Even when I've tried, it never let’s me give up...only a product of God can do that. This year,  I want to truly express my appreciation to everyone who has contributed to my movement and the growth of my brand!  Whether  it was an appointment booked, or kind word exchanged...a referral  or  even a cancellation. Thank you for helping me to evolve.

Flawless Makeup Art presents "Pamper Parlor" on February 22 from 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at one of the city's most sought after entertainment venues, Re:PublicNightclub located at 314 N. College Street in Uptown Charlotte. Admission is complimentary.

This event will prove to be the pinnacle of fashionable luxury for the discerning woman!  "Pamper Parlor" guests will be treated to hors d'oeuvres, desserts, signature cocktails, and most importantly a rare opportunity to try out some of the hottest makeup brands, beauty products and all things Flawless finds Fabulous. In an upscale lounge setting, attendees will visit stations set up for specific product lines and experience them first hand. Joy Randall and her team of experts will guide guests through everything that's "in" by applying the makeup and educating each woman about the benefits of the products. This sample lounge will feature products from LAMIK Beauty , Motives for "La La", Femi Cosmetics and A brand new lipstick line created by MUA Angel Cherry!!!

2012 is here...A year of limitless possibilities!

So I haven't updated this blog in quite some time... I've actually been having a love affair with Tumblr (www.tumblr.com/theflawlesslife), and he has certainly swept me off my feet! Lol! But I couldn't continue to just move on and not acknowledge the past.

This has also been a consistent theme entering the new year. Our past has purpose...ignoring it, suppressing it, or running from it only prolongs dealing with an issue. And until it is truly dealt with, we can count on it to resurface. I am learning to appreciate frustrating moments, for this is where the growth happens. If everything was pleasant all the time, how would we ever really be able to recognize or appreciate the beauty in those moments? I have made a huge effort to study myself in 2011, and I am ecstatic about the strides that the creator and I are making.

Those who know me, can see that I'm changing. Those who don't know me still appreciate my story. And those who don't know themselves, may have a problem with who they think I am. One thing is for sure, if you make an effort to know and study yourself... you can never truly understand others. Once we find understanding we can react less, and make better and more reasonable decisions in the future. I'm finding life to be astoundingly simple...it is ourselves that make it so difficult.

So with all that said, I am fearlessly stepping into 2012!!! And I am so thankful to have the support that I do! From God, Family, Friends, and Supporters like anyone who's reading this now. :) I look forward to continue sharing my journey with you! And I wish us all the absolute best in this new year! Shoot with the artist...Moye

This Thursday, I will have the sincere pleasure of working with an artist I have admired for years! I have admittedly labeled myself as one of her "groupies", and further more proud of it! She has produced images that have literally taken my breath away...yet and still consistently leaving an heir of mystery, in photo and in person. There are many you can say that you like their work...there are few you can say you respect their art. Moye is that artist.
So when she posted a photo special for only $65!!! OH! a sista had to jump on that!!!! LOL! (You just don't get work like this for that amount of money) And as much as I would like to keep it all to myself, I thought I'd be nice and share it with y'all. :) So you don't have to be jealous when you see my new pics...you can just get your own! LOL!;) But in all seriousness...this is a gift, to share her art this way. To give us a cost effective way to share her talent... I totally dig it and...Respect it! I'll be sure to post the pics...but most def, get your own!

I absolutely love the fact that my career path has so much flexibility! One day can be a photo shoot, the next a wedding, or even freelancing for a company. This was one of those right place at the right time opportunities! I was actually just chillin and my girl called me up...said the MUA on this project flaked and they needed somebody asap! Luckily I was there to save the day! And look how cool! A commercial for Enso! Actually did a little hair on this gig too.
